Citizens Ride-Along
The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office offers residents a unique opportunity to see firsthand how our deputies serve the community. Whether you’re considering a career in law enforcement or simply want a better understanding of daily patrol operations, a ride-along provides a close look at what deputies experience during their shift.

How to Participate
1. Submit an Application & Waiver
Complete the required forms (see below) and bring them, along with a valid ID, to the Sheriff’s Administrative Office:
